| Comments: | For anyone who has enjoyed books from this website check out "Twilight" and "New Moon" by Stephenie Meyer. These books are my favorites and I reread them and reread them. I can always find myself gripped by these amazing storries; they are so hard to put down. The books are about a high school girl, Bella, who falls in love with a vampire. The books tell about their difficult relationship. There is plenty of action that locks me in and forces me to continue into the late hours of the night! I have never read any books that had so much stuffed into them (that's probably why they are so interesting and like nothing I have ever read before). Both hold romance, drama, action, horror, fanasty, thought-provoking themes and ideas, and flawless writing! |

| Comments: | This site is AWESOME!!! EAST is one of my all-time favorite stories, and I will definitly read some of the other recommended novels. One book I recommend is Sunlight and Shadow by Mahlon F. Craft, kind of a retelling of the Magic Flute but one hundred times better and one hundred times more exciting! I'm not sure if it is already on this site or not, but I didn't see it so I hope I've been some help! |

When i got better i found your site and was so happy! I have heard many of the booksd on it and love to read the type you have on it. It is so great the way you have all the same type of books by all the different authors, and this is a great layout. Keep up the good work! :)
I also Suggest The Lost Years of Merlin Epic by T.A. Barron, they may not be about a heroine, but they are still wonderful books about the boyhood of the Wizard Merlin. |

Have you read any of Robin McKinley's books? I suggest 'The Blue Sword' and 'The Hero and the Crown' if you haven't. They're really good, and from your taste in books, I think you'd like them. I also read this other book, "The Forgotten Beasts of Eld" by Patricia A. McKillip. I think you might like that one, as well. There is a new series out by Tamora Pierce out now that I think you would enjoy--Trickster's Choice and Trickster's Queen. | Comments: | I read the Dollmage last night from 11:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., because I started it earlier on in the day and it was interesting. I liked the part about how the present Dollmage was a good speaker and how it made the whole story relevant and important and interesting in the beginning. I got the book at the library some weeks ago and realized it was due back in five days so I knew it was short anyway so I started reading.The girl on the cover was very pretty and interesting and the dolls hanging kept making me stare. I guess I know what you mean by how pretty covers compell you to read a book and see why thats on the cover. It was a great book, so now that i was on the internet I typed in "The Dollmage" and found your cite with your summary and was delighted to see it made the top ten list. I also love fantasy and I guess im writing this becuase that book deserves praise. |

And since you asked about suggestions, tru HIS DARK MATERIALS trilogy by Philip Pullman. There's a 12 yr old heroine, and though she mighnt't measure up much against the heroines posted on your site, she's still a heroine of multiple universes and the story and plot is just beautiful! It starts with The Northern Lights, then The Subtle Knife and finally The Amber Spyglass. All, very, very good reading! |
