| Comments: | My younger sister and I used to have the most beautiful matching bedspreads in the mid 70s. I think they were hand sewn with white balls all the way around them. We had my great grandparents matching beds and they looked untouchable. Our house was struck by lightning in 1978 or 79 and they burned up in an electrical fire and I felt like a piece of my childhood had been taken from me. And if I ever get the chance to built my dream house; I will make a Wizard of Oz room just to show my appreciation for that movie. I love the story behind it and the lessons learned in the movie also.

Growing up she loved watching the movie over and over and Tinman was her make believe friend. She was buried with a Tinman figure in her hand and she has a Tinman hanging at her gravesite. The Wizard of Oz always reminds me of my precious daughter. |

Crazy thing I have noticed in my life is that almost every day ...someone uses a line, quote or there is just some type of reference to our beloved movie! I also like that this classic is also spritual-apparent and hidden themes are everywhere! Great advice? It is always best to start at the begining!!!
