| Comments: | I thought I was the only one that like my little furry friends. It's real good to see that there are skunk lovers out there. I've been raising or I should say my skunks choose he to live with me. This is going on the third year I've had skunks as forest friends, I don't like using a word like "Pet" because I see then as little people living with me in the forest. They have the same right to be here as I do. I've learned so much from my little friends about wild life and found out most stories are wrong. I've found that if you treat wild mammals with respect they will treat you the same way. I've never been sprayed by a skunk except when I picked up a baby who I rescued and baby skunks smell like vitamuns which I thought was interesting. My skunks are independant but do come to me when I call them. They are also all wild. I'm so glade that people are deposing the myths about skunks. |
