Amber Brown Tuesday, October 11th 2011 - 08:46:34 AM Edward, I had been waiting in anticipation for new work to be added and it was surely worth the wait! I visited your Niagara on the Lake studio while you were putting the finishing touches on 'Return of the King' and had a chance to talk with you about your work. You told me it is your goal to catch the animals in their domain with the look of the wild in their eyes. You did just that yet again! Thank you for your beautiful work and for being such an inspiration! Amber

James Pasichny Saturday, September 3rd 2011 - 10:10:00 PM jpasichny@bell.net Edward, I was in your NOTL studio last Saturday, where I purchased two small prints - "Dreamcatcher" and "Intensity". I was very impressed with your work....so much so, that I returned with my family today. I walked out with a framed 20x20 canvas print of "Return of the King"...a gorgeous lion. I will back in a few days to pick up another framed 20x20 canvas print that we ordered - "Calculating the Odds" a very cool tiger. What impressed me, other than your obvious talent, was the stories you shared about the subjects for each. We have many prints around our home from some very well known artists, but these new pieces will become the centre piece of our collection. Thank you for taking the time to share your stories and make our new purchases all the more meaningful. Regards, James & Sandra Pasichny

Janine Saturday, January 8th 2011 - 05:20:09 PM wheelers@bell.net Hello, I had purchased a small print of yours at an art show: Buckhorn, in 2001 when I was 8 years old. I'm now 18 and I still have it hanging on my wall. It was of a leopard, as I loved jaguars when I was younger. You signed it and said, "Janine, Keep on Painting! Best Wishes. Edward Spera." I'm still taking art in school to this day. I just wanted to say its really nice to still have this, and see all of your work on the interent that focuses on wildlife. I love wildlife animals and appreciate all of the detail you place in your paintings. They're beautiful. Janine

We were both really impressed by your work and you were telling us about the open house in this upcoming week. My parents 40th Anniversary is on the same day and on the other side of Ontario( Tweed ). But we would like to know when it is possible to get in touch with you? We were the couple that you were talking about travelling to Africa in aug/sept of next year. This is exactly the type of travelling we were thinking of. If you can get back to us on the next open house and when to put in our names for travelling we would both be so greatful. Thankyou for your time Hope your open house goes well Kevin J Gilbert and Jennifer Mcevoy

Laurie Duke Sunday, October 24th 2010 - 12:45:16 AM scarletnitaya@yahoo.com Your works of art are truly stunning! The amount of detail in each piece is astonishing. I had a wonderful time admiring your work today and talking to you about it. I am extremely interested in traveling with you as well. I will not be able to do this next year yet as I am buying a new house with my fiance and getting married but perhaps it would be the perfect opportunity for a honey moon or a trip for sure in the next few years. A rough idea of cost would be helpful just so that I have something to work towards. Please keep me informed of your trips. Thank you for inspiring me to continue to photograph and perhaps look at my paintings in a whole new light!

Charlotte Burnham Sunday, November 8th 2009 - 07:56:39 PM burnham101@yahoo.ca Hi...We wandered into your gallery today, Sat,8th Nov., and were most impressed with your work and your story! As a budding artist, 9 months into the game, I was amazed to learn of your ascent into the art world 17 years ago. You have an incredible technique and determination to represent wild animals as they truly survive in nature. It was most exciting to learn that not only have you made this career change successful, you also have had the pleasure of traveling the world and have enjoyed seeing these animals in their true habitat. Good for you! I do not aspire to such heights, however I am truly enjoying discovering how painting can enhance my outlook and my life and give me so much pleasure. We (all four of us) found your story so interesting....and your painting ain't so bad either!!

Teresa Williams Tuesday, July 22nd 2008 - 08:09:56 AM jewellteresa@aol.com I visited the gallery last year on a 3 month visit to Canada. Someone recommended I vist the gallery during my visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake and I was not disappointed. Unfortunately Edward was not around as he and his wife were in India, but the lady in the shop was incredibly helpful and friendly. The toughest part of the visit was narrowing my purchases to 3!! I bought "Kicking Back" and "Time to Rest" for myself and "Gentle Touch" for a friend. As I was travelling the lady, promised that the pictures would be packaged properly and sent home to the UK together with all the additional paperwork. It was a lovely surprise to get home and see the prints waiting for me safely. I have since recommended the gallery to friends who are looking for presents for themselves and others and I will certainly be buying more once my feet have stopped roaming.

Rene Tuesday, June 17th 2008 - 08:42:03 PM rene007@telus.net http://www.reneboast.com Dear Lisa and Ed, I am a new artist and always browsing through galleries to be inspired. I saw your work the first time in Jubulani Gallery in Vernon. Fred has been kind enough to have some of my pieces displayed. I told him please not to put them near yours. Your work is absolutely amazing. Instead of inspiring me I felt envy. I am doing a workshop with Daniel Smith next week and I guess I hope to become an instant "artist". I am in such a hurry to finish my art as I want to see the finished product, I realise the more detailed it is the more realistic, right? Many blessing to your and Lisa. Your giraffe is so awesome and so are the elephants. Kindest regards Rene

Linda S. Archer Sunday, June 8th 2008 - 01:21:07 AM archerls@msn.com Hello Mr Spera, You don't know me but you just met my husband Ken Archer in Yellowstone. He told me about you on the phone and then showed me your brochure today. WOW!!! You are an inspiration to me. You see I started sketching in the early 90's. I too am self taught and when we moved from Colorado to Washington I tried watercolor. Then I started combining watercolor and pastels and fell in love with it. My husband Ken is always trying to incourage me to do something with my artistic gift.I have always put my family first and felt I never had much time to do what I love but our kids are older now. Anyway if you have any advice I would greatly appriciate it. You mentioned a place where you learned the knowledge you needed to help you get where you wanted to be. What is this place. Again I want to thank you for sharing your gift you are truly an inpiration. It would be a privilage to met you and your wife someday. Thank You Linda S. Archer

John Dodsworth Monday, February 11th 2008 - 12:06:46 AM dodsworth@execulink.com Hello Edward, I happened to be visiting Niagara-on-the-Lakes, and taking pictures in Niagara Falls area, as I'm a starving artist. It was a very cold day, but I'm glad, I stopped in to your gallery, very sophisticated compositions of wildlife. Realism art is very popular with many people including myself and for an artist your dipictions are wonderful pieces, keep up the good work. I believe, I was driving away from your gallery when you were showing up for your show in South Carolina. Good luck and hope to me you one day. John Dodsworth

Sarah Gravel Sunday, January 6th 2008 - 01:04:48 AM MysticClown6@hotmail.com AMAZING WORK! I live in new york and I went up to Niagara on the Lake with my boyfriend for the day and I came upon the gallery. I'm majoring in art and love to see everyone else's work. When I stepped inside, my eyes teared up right away, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I would have to say that Edward's artwork has been a huge inspiration for me, and even the people I have shown his work to too. Keep it up, your talent is unlike any other. Sarah

Dieter Gutmann Sunday, May 20th 2007 - 05:38:23 AM DiLiz4041@aol.com Dear Lisa and Edward, ...remember - of Bandhavgarh ? evening - and on the jungle-road ? I will start to send you interesting files about the situation of TIGER's from the perspective of Researchers; ...I do hope that you journey had an good end - Benny and myself we recorded 75 hours about the subject of "Human's and Tiger's" - all is now at the post-production in the studio; will see when the film is coming out - end of the year; at a moment we have a discussion with people from the discovery-channel. ...on India-Lion's - there is havy poching at a moment; we will see how things are going on; there are always more and more "bombings" in India - the security-level of the country is really going down. Interesting is, that in Uttar Pradesh the most populated country in India a women won the parlament-voting - she is from the loest cast !!! ...it means also - a steady revolution is still going on; think about : 500 Million people are poor in India 400 Million of them cannot read and write 300 Million are very poor those people are opposite of the success-story of those who are moving the country forward into a modern society; At the end of this note - the pictures are coming soon ! take care of you - and it will be funny to meet you again on any good place on earth - or in Canada - or in Hamburg where we are living. With best regards Dieter

Mike Vickers Friday, April 6th 2007 - 01:12:29 PM mike1606@hotmail.co.uk http://www.tigersinthewild.com Hi Edward and Lisa It was nice to meet up with you both at Bandhavgarh and I hope that you will have enjoyed the remainder of your time in India. I had a great sighting on my last day-I witness the Chakradhara sub adult tiger making a kill of a small Chittal deer only to loose it to her bigger brother. However he also subsequently lost out as shortly afterwards B2 their Father appeared and they both fought for about 30 seconds and then the youngster gave way to his Father who stole the prey and then devoured the lot! Do drop me a line and let me know how you got on and perhaps maybe we will meet up again. Best wishes Mike p.s. Fantaststic artwork on your website-keep up the good work.

Darren Greene Wednesday, June 14th 2006 - 02:04:43 PM dgreene10@comcast.net We visited your gallery in Niagara on the Lake on June 10th, we loved the prints you had on display. We purchased two smaller peices for our home. We have since returned home to Michigan and hung the peices, they go so well, we will be contacting you to purchase more. Our 3 year old son who loves animals can't stop looking at them.

Julie and Kurt Monteiro Sunday, June 11th 2006 - 10:34:07 PM Hi Edward and Lisa, We visited your wonderful gallery on Saturday June 10th and were in awe of your detailed artwork. We just got back to Toronto and I have already hung up the canvas print of "Kicking Back - Sea Otter" that we purchased as our early anniversary present. I am definately looking forward to the release of "Skimming The Surface - Blue Heron" on print canvas and am interested in getting the 1st print if possible. You already have my contact information and I've signed up for the newsletter. We are looking forward to seeing more of your work online and also to seeing the new pieces that you produce from your upcoming trip. Thanks again for the Copacabana restaraunt suggestion. It made a fantastic end to a beautiful day!

Bonni Green Friday, June 9th 2006 - 07:09:45 PM bonnianddave@cogeco.ca Hi again Edward, I met you briefly at the Windsor Art in the Park show last Saturday. (I was the one who wouldn't leave your booth and commented on my awe for the way you captured that elephant. I get silly and inspired and I'm not sure what just thinking about that painting. I have now had a chance to look at your website and I can tell you have put as much passion into all of your paintings and sketches....and not just that beautiful elephant I fell in love with. Self taught....wow....I am so impressed. Congratulations on exploring your talents and sharing with the rest of us. I may be your newest fan!! Take care and all the best...I'll be sure to stop in to Niagara on the Lake with my husband to check out the elephant again. Regards, Bonni

Sharon Wastle Wednesday, January 4th 2006 - 02:16:48 PM swastle@inbox.com Hi Ed, I recently visited Ontario and my friend and I dropped into your gallery. I was stunned at the beautiful artworks, especially the Mountain Gorillas and Iggy. I will faxing an order form for Iggy later today. However, you had two oils of your latest male and female Mountain Gorillas and told me that you would be posting limited edition prints to your web site shortly. I would be very interested in getting your #1 issues for both. Can you please confirm the availability and price? Many thanks, Sharon Sharon Wastle Suite 513, 10147-112 Street Edmonton, AB T5K 1M1 swastle@inbox.com

James Chandler Friday, December 23rd 2005 - 12:47:24 PM jrchandler1@earthlink.net I have several copies of Spera's work. Several weeks ago I ordered a copy of "Jewel of the Amazon: Toco Toucan" thru the Green River Frame Shop in Tryon, NC. I was told that the copy would be mailed to me. I was hoping to have it for Christmas. Don't know if that will happen, but wanted to check on the status of my order. Please reach me at E-mail address above. James R. Chandler 12/23/05
