Started off with The Union Underground and they really hammered it out, followed by Raging speed horn on the main stage, then in no particular order, Apartment 26, (head) pe, pure rubbish, soulfly, amen, tool, disturbed, papa roach, black label society, mudvayne, slipknot and the Miester himself Ozzy and Black Sabbath. it was an amazing day, the sounds and atmosphere were wicked and young and old mixed together for one love; Music. Brought a tear to my eye. Shaking hands with Jeremy from Apartment 26 and getting the plectrum from the lead guitarist of The union underground was also cool. well thought id share it with ya, definately going next year, Respect. Taproot , 2 Stage : I love the Gift c.d but other then the energy they were not that good. Slaves on dope , Main : They Kicked so much ass. Jason Rockman threw the mic in the crowd and let a fan sing. Closing the set with leader of losers, they got the whole crowd Screaming "Don't tell me how to live my life". P.O.D , Main : They were great but they seemed to have had the same set list from the Return Of the rock. Methods of Mayhem , Main : The Intro was great and Tommy and T-loe [I think I spelled it wrong] put on a hell of a show. Incubus main : They were just plain great . Static - x, main : Kicked ass Soulfly, 2 stage : I did not see the whole set, because I wanted to see Godsmack on the main stage but what I saw of Soulfly was Awsome. Godsmack, Main : They were one of the best bands there. Sully even played a little drums Also the band played two new songs Awake and Sick of Life. Ending with Keep away. Pantera, Main : The high point for me was when they played walk. Plus there were lighters from front to back when they played this love. pluse kick ass songs like Hell bound , Fucking hostel and revolution is my name. Pantera is still one of the best in Metal. They were so kick ass. OZZY Osborne, Main : He's The king of Metal. Of course the music was good. The thing you want to know is what were his stage antics. He had these huge water cannons and during suicide solution He got carried up and sprayed pretty much the whole crowed. In a scale of 1-10: 100000000000000000000 points for OZZY. |

Ozzy's hoses. OMG! It was so cool. I was standing between my older brother and my Mom and the middle hose was pointed directly at my seat, I was the only one getting wet. Yea my mom and brother got wet too, but some of the time when the hose was right on my head I could glance at both of them and seeing them not getting but a couple drops on them.The people around me were trying to go by me to get some of Ozzy's "holy water" on themselves. Rob Zombie was my fav at Ozzfest '99. The pyro was so fucking cool. '99 was my second year there, we spent $200 on each ticket just to get better seats. It was one of the best expeirences and I'll always remeber all the ozzfests I've ever been to for the rest of my life. It's now 2001 and I'm going to this one too. My 4rth Ozzfest! HAIL OZZY 4 eva! |

SLAVES ON DOPE these guys are on ozzy's new label they were really good at one point during their performance a guy was in the pit with a jason mask and a graduation gown the lead singer goes like "what the fuck is that?? i think you all should bum rush him and kill him!" i was laughing at that next was PRIMER 55 pretty badass performance little bit too much rap for me but dats ok next was TAPROOT on the main stage they sounded good but the crowd response sucked HARDCORE ASS back over to the @nd stage to see DISTURBED they were good then the DEADLIGHTS who REALLY kicked ass probably one of the loudest performances there next was PITCHSHIFTER didnt pay too much attention to them cuz i was busy looking at sum hot ass chicks flashing their tits (WOOHOOO!) i didnt even waste my time to go see POD and INCUBUS cuz i really dont like them METHODS OF MAYHEM was eeehhh kinda boring next was SHUVEL they were a pretty good REVEILLE tore shit up next was KITTIE while waiting for their performance the crowd started to get impatient and started nailing the roadies with whatever they could find! IT WAS FUNNY AS ALL FUCKING HELL!! KITTIE has THE best performance of the day the pit they had going was fucking INSANE! I LOST MY FUCKIN HAT! next was a band i REALLY wanted to see SOULFLY let me tell you they fuckin RULE live!!! you must see them! back over to the main stage for GODSMACK who sounded really good, great crowd response! next the band i CAME to see PANTERA motherfuck i love PANTERA!!!!! they put on an AMAZING SHOW! next was the living legend himself! Slipknot played the best and had everyone going wild. Static X, Fear Factory and Puya were also good on the second stage. I thought Pushmonkey and System of a Down played good shows, but Godsmack and Primus sucked ass in concert. Slayer wasn't all that impressive and Zombie didn't know how to sing. Deftones played a hell of a show, but SLIPKNOT AND STATIC X were still the best. Hopefully next year Ozzfest will have COAL CHAMBER, PANTERA, SEVENDUST, TYPE O NEGATIVE, AND STAIND. |

kill preformance. Followed was Hed Pe that really got everyone in a rageing mood. Next was godsmack they had to of had the best preformance of the day. But there were some dissapointment like SLAYER, DEFTONES, PRIMUS. But at the end of the day BLACK SABBATH lit the stage up sierously. The show was cut short because of a fire that was started in the middle of the lawn. All in it kicked ass. |

i'll be SO pissed.Cuz i wrote a LONG and i mean LONG ass review and it didn't work...or maybe it did I don't know.But this is the Place to be if you really wanna ROCK out cuz there's no chairs or separations from the stage.Pure pits!!Static-X rocked the house...they were on the main stage probably cuz it was WISCONSIN!!Wayne has amazing stage prescence and they know how to get the crowd going.they put me in the mood. Ozzy was great as usual and I was excited to see Black Sabbath.They played all the oldies...the greatest:) it rocked...it was headbangin,water,tits,fireworks!!Ozzfest had it all!!Food was kinda expensive tho..damn.In my honest opinion Zombie wasn't that good....maybe that was cuz i was trying to breathe....the pits were intense during Zombie.Godsmack was awesome...Sully's atotal hottie..and I really liked the stage set. I really wanted to see (hed)pe...my friends said they rocked.. no surprise there. System of a Down was just incredible..they are amazing. Fear Factory rocked....Primus was well...Primus. Pushmonkey was pretty damn cool...and the lead singer sounds really good. I was like 10 feet away from Chino (the deftones) he came out in the crowd.that was pretty cool...okay i'm just pissed...i hope it works this time!! the most Kick ass experience of my life.Somerset,Wisconsin is this crazy tourist town with like millions of different campgrounds.We stayed at Apple River...we got there on the 30th and partied..but had to get up early to get on the bus for ozzfest.We got there early and had to wait..once we got in we looked at all the different booths.Apartment 26 was on first..i didn't get to see much.The first show we went to was Pushmonkey...they're pretty good.My friend really dug them though.Everything rocked!!I wasn't really 'feelin' any of the bands yet until STATIC-X came out and rocked the show.....that was the BEST performance (ozzy doesn't even count) but Wayne and the boys kicked ass!!!The pit was huge..no chairs ....no bullshit!!Strictly the stage and you..no separations or anything.After Static-X came System of a Down...who I love.They also got the crowd all riled up.I dug Primus also...they got pretty crazy.I missed (hed) pe which i am totally pissed about..but my friends say that they rocked it also. the most Kick ass experience of my life.Somerset,Wisconsin is this crazy tourist town with like millions of different campgrounds.We stayed at Apple River...we got there on the 30th and partied..but had to get up early to get on the bus for ozzfest.We got there early and had to wait..once we got in we looked at all the different booths.Apartment 26 was on first..i didn't get to see much.The first show we went to was Pushmonkey...they're pretty good.My friend really dug them though.Everything rocked!!I wasn't really 'feelin' any of the bands yet until STATIC-X came out and rocked the show.....that was the BEST performance (ozzy doesn't even count) but Wayne and the boys kicked ass!!!The pit was huge..no chairs ....no bullshit!!Strictly the stage and you..no separations or anything.After Static-X came System of a Down...who I love.They also got the crowd all riled up.I dug Primus also...they got pretty crazy.I missed (hed) pe which i am totally pissed about..but my friends say that they rocked it also. I was like 10 feet away from Chino (from Deftones)he came out into the crowd...that was cool! Rob Zombie was okay...i think he was recording a home video here or something.I almost got my ass kicked tho...the crowd went crazy when Zombie came out. Another great performance i forgot about was Godsmack...Sully's a total hottie and I liked his stage set.The weather was killer hot but it rained so that was cool.The ending to a perfect day was Ozzy and Black Sabbath rippin shit up old school style playing "children of the grave","sweetleaf",and "blacksabbath".There was water,fireworks,tits,and confetti!!!This is the Place to be for OZZFEST...come to Somerset next year...it's the craziest trust me!!! |

| Comments: | This show was absolutely amazing. This was my first time
attending Ozzfest, and I have to say that it kicked ass. I had heard of some of the bands that were in the line-up before, but when I saw some of them perform, I just stood in awe. Since Ozzfest I became a huge Pushmonkey fan...and I've also grown to like Primus, System of a Down, Drain S.T.H., among other bands. Most of the bands performed great, of course there were a few just "okay" ones. The first band I saw was Drain, they were amazing, then I saw Pushmonkey who sang really well live (they may have even sounded better live than on their cd), and I saw System and they were totally kick ass, Primus was pretty good, Static X got the crowd rockin, Fear Factory and Slipknot had the best mosh pits, Godsmack put on a decent show, Slayer was just okay but not bad...and the rest of the bands were cool. And my friend who I also went to the concert with absolutely looooooved the Deftones...she's a huge fan of theirs from pretty much the beginning. I'm definately going to be attending Ozzfest next year, and I can't wait to see the line-up! |

Ozzfest best concert i have ever been to. I saw ozzfest the day Slipknots cd came out in stores. So the put on wild head banging show!!! First band that i saw was (HeD)p.e. and in my opinion the best band on the 2nd stage. M.C.U.D. has a unreal stage presence and just blew me away. Coming in 2nd for sure was Fear Factory, Dino tore it up hard!!! 3rd would be tied at Slipknot or Puya. Supriziling Latin Metal really kicks ass and Slipknot well 9 guys on stage that play Metal Hardcore Hip-hop just kicked ass!!!and i meet the drummer and one of the guitarist, great guys!!! Static-X hit on 4th it was the first time i heard them but they played preety good. Loved the lead singers hair. I missed Pushmonkey, Flashpoint, and Drain S.T.H. On the Mainstage every band fucking kicked and kicked Primus was wild. Slayer was Deadly. But my Deftone were unreal but had something special about there performance with a meaning and a sonic sound. Rob Zombie was to much for me he tore the Lawn up and i meant that. Part of the laws was being launched around in the air, it was great! The mighty Black Sabbath played the best of course. Ozzy was great. Tony and Geezed ripped it up and Bill beat the shit out the drums and his age hes unreal. Overal Kick ass concert and i cant wait untill next year. |

me tell you that it TRUELY gives Wisconson death trip a name. At the Floatrite park there are thousands of campsites for the weekend. It was a non-stop 5 day party. We showed up a day before the concert and partied our asses off. The next day it was just a little walk to the concert stadium. The best thing about it was there were no seats,huge ass moshpits and it was outside. Right when I showed up Static X was playing.. Let me say they really ripped shit up on the main stage. I think they gave the best performance of the day...( Besides Black Sabbith of coarse)... I have been to the past 4 Ozzfests and I gotta admit this one was the best yet. I really wish Pantera.. Coal chamber.. Tool... and Sevendust were there this year. Hopefully next year. Anyways if you want to go see one of the best ozzfest shows GO TO Floatrite .... There are no restrictions... Take it easy... Toni |

I was right in front. They were real cool. They talked about how good it was to be back in Texas cause it's fuckin cold everywhere else. They got practicly the whole crowd jumping...it was bad ass. I was also(I just have to mention this cause it's the best thing that happened to me @ the Ozzfest)2 feet away from Chino Moreno!! He was right in my face! I lost my voice screaming when Rob Zombie came on. I think that he was the 2nd best cause of all of his pyro- technics but Black Sabbath was the best cause they're Black Sabbath! Ozzy mooned the crowd. And he told everyone that we should all have a ti-ti contest and then lifted up his shirt and said "Here's mine!" It was fucking hilarious! He also talked about when he pissed on the Alamo. I think he said something like he has to take a piss real bad but we get mad when he does...I don't remember exactly what he said though but it was funny. I founda lot of money that drunk people accidently dropped...hehe. Which means, I got some kick ass shirts that I didn't have to pay for! =) Ain't life swell?! Considering that that was the first concert I went to, it was still the greatest. I suggest that if you haven't been there, GO!!! RIGHT NOW! K, laters!! =P |
