I just wanted to say how much I enjoy the Midday Music program which I am often able to fit into my daily schedule. Great variety makes for enjoyable listening. Thanks for the Lennon-McCartney pieces! I would also like to commend your new announcer, Ted Seaman. He has a very pleasant delivery and his soothing voice is a welcome antidote to a stressful day. | Comments: | You are the only station still living that provides us with at least some classical music.
Please don't cut back on it any more than you already have to make way for "talk" (blab) programs all afternoon. Your local eleven to one program is outstanding. I go back to the days when WSVH came on the air around 0700 & "news" took up a few minutes of reading. Sometimes I miss those days. |

| Comments: | I have been a member since almost the beginning, and used to particularly enjoy Rob Hall's Saturday programs on the musical theater. Does anyone have any idea what he is doing now? I believe he was a volunteer. Another big on air contributor was Betty Johnson. I also wonder whether she is still around Atlanta. I would prefer more local programming even if using recorded music, and don't care for so many hours of news broadcasts. I get that on Jim Lehrer's telecast. |

| Comments: | Just a comment on Emily Bush's presenting her material. The live programs are very well done, very spontaneous but what happens with the news? I can hear her stop at each line or she misses words all the time. The national people are reading their lines also live and I don't hear them fumble much at all and it is very smooth (that's what makes them national I guess). But Emily . . .crickey . . .it doesn't have to sound like a sixth grader reading in front of an eighth grade class. I know it is a small thing but I would think a pre-reading of the material and possibly cleaning up the awkward lines would make for a smoother presentation. It has been a year and a half. Oh where is ShoShona go??????? |

Dreams had ended with the cordial "Thank you.........for listening" and I had begun my mocking rendition of the, shall we say, unpleasant theme music for Sunday Rounds when, what to my wondering ears should appear, but the announcement that I would not be subjected to a discussion of toe nail fungus, coronary artery disease, yeast infections, or geriatric vitamin deficencies! To paraphrase the crew of the HMS Pinafore, "O Joy! Oh rapture. Oh Rapture, Oh Bliss!" Choral Music on a Sunday Morning! Thank you....thank you.....thank you. Now, if we can just get "Sound and Spirit" back to the 10 o'clock hour on Sunday mornings! Thanks, WSVH crew, for your great work. You are a |

| Comments: | Houston, we STILL have a problem... The rearrangement of
your Sunday morning schedule with "Sound and Spirit' coming on at 11 means I never get to hear one of the BEST weekend shows on the air. When it was on at 10 I could hear 1/2 of it as I drove from Pt Wentworth to Springfield for Sunday mornig mass there. So, just keep this request in the hopper for the next time you gerrymander the schedule! All in all, you all do a great job. Thanks for the good |

Most of the stations I have been lessening to seened to be on a pre recorded loop. Boy! was this borring. One day I was surching the airways for somthing new to lissen to. I hit on WSVH 91.1 playing Jazz and giving back ground information on the porformers. I have gotten stuck on you. Keep up the good prograhaming and intervews. How about bring back old radio plays! over the local station WWIO-FM..throughout the week and religiously every Sat. and Sun. I am especially intrigued by your broadcast of the HomePrarie show. The host and his guest on that program are very interesting and most entertaining...I would not miss that show for anything...no matter where I am or what I may be doing....EVERTHING comes to a halt at the time of that broadcast..for me to hear and enjoy that program. You have my whole-hearted support for the fine programing implimented and wish you continued success throughout the coming years. Sincerely, April Love |

| Comments: | When, on Saturday afternoons I try to find a radio oasis in
the desert of the "dreaded" opera broadcast, I am reminded of how much I have come to enjoy public radio. After about eight and three-quarter seconds of searching to find good programming elsewhere on the dial and running into nothing but advertisements, and after switching to the CD of Bach or Padre Soler, Chant Course or Chanticleer already in the player, I am reminded again of how glorious public radio really is! Thanks for the great work done locally |
