this is a beautiful page. i was in grd seven when the act took place, and over this time, i have changed much. the inspiration, curage and faith displayed by the students facing death matched the distruction. may Jah protect you, Columbine. may the peace and plessings of God be upon you. i pray in Jesus name that one day, school will be safe again, not only from weapons of death, but weapons of opression. treat others with compassion, for without compassion, we are already in hell. i still cry for you all. - -jake |

| Comments: | B4 I blab, just wanna say awesome website. :)
The Columbine High school tragedy has been a total horror and heart-breaking incident to the world. In my religion class right now at school, we're doing the novel study "She Said Yes"- the novel written by Cassie Bernall's mother Misty. It is an extremely touching and insightful story of Cassie; it has inspired me so in so many ways. It makes me so upset to think about how Cassie and the other 12 victims felt moments before they were killed. They were all wonderful innocent people, and I hope the good Lord is watching after them. I pray for the victims and their families & friends... Cassie Bernall especially for dying for her faith just like Jesus did. She will always be remembered as a hero to me. |

| Comments: | I just want to say that my heart goes out to all the friends and families of those killed and injured. This tradgey has shown what a great love some people have for Christ. God has really layed it on my heart latley to bring the whole tradgey to him and to pray for the victims of it. To the people who have condoned what Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold did should be ashamed of themselves, there is only one person who can take life and that is Jesus Christ. May God bless you for this web site and may he comfort those who were closley connected to the shooting

| Comments: | this is a good story by Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold
Klebold: "I know we're gonna have followers because we're so fucking God-like.'' Klebold: "We're not exactly hu man - we have human bodies but we've evolved into one step above you fucking human shit. We actually have fucking self-awareness.'' Harris: "We need a fucking kick start. If we have a fucking religious war - or oil - or anything. We need to get a chain reaction going here.'' Harris: "It's gonna be like Doom man - after the bombs explode. That fucking shotgun (he kisses a gun) straight out of Doom. Go ahead and change gun laws - how do you think we got ours?'' Harris: "Shut the fuck up, Nick, you laugh too much. And those two girls sitting next to you, they probably want you to shut up, too. Rachel and Jen and whatever.'' Klebold: "Stuck up little bastards, you fucking little Christianity, Godly whore.'' Harris: "Yeah, I love Jesus, I love Jesus, shut the fuck up.'' Klebold: "What would Jesus do? What would I do. Boosh! (points at camera as if holding gun). Harris: "I would shoot you in the motherfucking head! Go Romans - Thank God they crucified that asshole.'' Both: "Go Romans! Go Romans! Yeah! Whooo!'' |

| Comments: | Thank you for remembering that there were FIFTEEN victims.
I am touched and so happy that you included Eric and Dylan on your page as well. To those of you who hate and ridicule them, even now - listen to yourselves. Your hate, your ignorance...that is what CAUSED Columbine. Eric and Dylan deserved respect and kindness, as do all human beings; had they not been treated with hate and cruelty, they would not have become filled with it themselves. Hate them all you want; you're only furthering the tragedy of 4/20/99. I and many others will always remember the boys with sadness and compassion; they deserved that, as did their victims. Please don't forget the 15 who died, and please strive to change things in their names. |

| Comments: | This webpage is great. I lived in Bettendorf Iowa at the
time of the Columbine tragedy and I still remember how I was afraid to go to school for weeks after that. I have been out of high school for a year now, but I still fear places that I used to feel so safe in. After I graduated I made a vow to reach out and help others more often. I don't know how I can help the people of Columbine, the families and the students and faculty. But I can say this. Each and every day you run through my prayers, and probably a thousand other peoples prayers to. I can honestly say my heart burns for you every day. I wish you nothing but the best, you deserve nothing short of happiness. |

No matter who we are, no matter where we live, no matter the color of our skin, we ARE one people. Let us never forget that words DO hurt. As you greet people in the course of your day, be kind. Do not judge, for there is only ONE judge. Ask not for hatred, but rather ask for love. My prayers will always be with those whose lives were changed forever by this tradegy. May you all be safe and know love. Kat |

| Comments: | I was a junior in high school when this happened, I
remember being at home and being absolutely horrified when there was a news bulleton about it. The next few weeks, a kid, thinking it would be funny, called in a fake bomb threat. The first time everyone thought it was a big joke, and enjoyed it. The second time, we sat outside for 2 and 1/2 hours, that's when it started to set in that this could all be real. It was fake, fortunetly, but I felt so bad for all those kids in Columbine who had just been through a tragedy, and then there was this jerk thinking it would be funny to call in a bomb threat, so for all of you in Columbine, picking up the pieces, I'm truely sorry, I wish you nothing but happiness in the rest of your years... to anyone out there who has suffered a tragedy and to those who haven't, don't be stupid, be respectful of your peers...don't do anything that would upset you if you were the opposite position. |

| Comments: | I am very saddened by what went on at Columbine High School
and would like to please say that I hope that nothing else happens like that where innocent students die. That is the saddest lesson I have ever seen happen and I hope everyone has learned that violence is never the key and no one should die because your in a bad mood. I feel so sorry for the fmilys that have to deal with the deaths of their children. Just to think that they will never see them again because of two students that decided to go on a rampage for their own reasons. I am so sorry and I would hate it if my own mother had to go through what they have to go through. I want to say that I am praying for them and no matter how long ago it was or how long ago it will be I will always be saddened by the loss of the 15 victims who never thought that April 20, 1999 would be their last day on earth. I hope they are in a better place now and I hope nothing like this happens again. |

| Comments: | Today, on April 20th, 2000, the anniversay of the Columbine
massacre, I pray for everyone who was involved in the Columbine shooting. At my high school in Montreal, Canada, we did many things to help remember what happened a year ago today. We were all asked to sign a pledge saying that we will respect each other, hoping to prevent a massacre such as the one in Columbine. Each student and teacher was given a purple ribbon to wear as a symbol of anti-violence. At 11:21 this morning, every one was asked to rise for a moment of silence to commemorate not only the lives of the people who were killed, but to everyone who was in Columbine High School on April 20th, 1999. A poem which was written by a student at my school was read over the intercom as a reminder that the way we treat others, can affect our everyday lives, the same way as it did in Columbine. As a 16 year old girl, who knows what it's like to be in high school, and not know what will happen next, my heart and prayers goes out to everyone in Littleton, Colorado. The students at Riverdale High School, including myself, are thinking about you. We pray for you not only today, but everyday. My heart goes out to all of you. |

What happened at Columbine that day has been in my mind this whole year and will always be. The day after it happened, my school received a shooting threat. This young man threatened to shoot anyone he could, but luckily got caught before anything happened. I did stay home from school that day, and I think that God really watched over us that day. I pray everyday that the people of Columbine have the strength to go on with their lives in a peaceful way. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."- Phil. 4:13 |

on this day, the 1st Anniversary of the students and teacher that died tragically at Columbine High School. Since that dreadful day, there has been numerous other killings or suicides. Lets pull together and stop all these senseless killings of our children and teenagers. To the parents: Please listen to your kids and let them know you are always there for them. Students: Know that giving a smile to someone you don't even know can make he/she's day. Friends: Let those know, if they are feeling down or need someone to talk to, that you will be there for them and help them through the healing process. *Love & Hugs* |

| Comments: | I remember the day this tragedy happened. I walked into my
6th hour class and we got ready to watch Channel One. When we turned the TV on there was breaking news about what had happened. I couldn't believe it. Several other classmates and me just sat there in shock for that whole class period. As soon as the school day was over with I went home and watched the news all night and cried watching what was happening. This touched me a lot. A week later there was a bomb threat and ever since then I haven't felt the same about going to school. Everyone says that school is one of the safest places to be, but I just don't understand why me and several thousands of students around the U.S. still dont' feel safe 364 days later. I hope that everyone will always carry this event in there heart and pray for the families of the victims and especially for the survivors. :) |

to school. I feel like I am in Prison sometimes because our principal locks the doors and whenever someone comes to our school they have to wear a guest pass. I go to Sturgeon Bay High School in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. This is a really cool web site to visit. This all happened when I was 14 and now I am 16 and there are still people that are bombing other places and I think that some day it is going to happen to our school. We have already had a bomb threat and we all had to evacuate the building for the rest of the day and I was so terrified to come back to school the next day that I had my mom excuse me for that day until I knew that it was safe to return. |

| Comments: | I just can't believe it. It is so hard to fathom how somebody could do this. I've never even been to Colorado and this tragedy touched me profoundly. It's almost a year later and I'm still crying about it. How? Why? Because somebody made fun of them? People get picked on every day, but this is the only time I've seen it taken to this extent. Those boys are so cowrdly, they couldn't even face their punishment. There were thirteen victims at Columbine High School, not fifteen. Kids think they're invincible, but they're not. However, we SHOULD NOT have to go to school, nor should the Columbine kids, scared that this could happen again. There are only two kids at Columbine that I wil never admire and they are Eric Harris and Dylan Kliebold. Col-
umbine survivors are my heroes and those killed? May your memories live on forever. For we know that you are shining down on Earth from heaven. Goodbye, for now. Amen. |

| Comments: | God is not allowed in our schools anymore, we are not
allowed to mention his name, or pray for his mercy. Man kind has berayed their own freedom to be able to believe in something. We no longer can safely be individuals and keep our beliefs. In Columbine High School on April 20, 1999, God was at Columbine High School, and God wrapped his loving and graceful arms around the innocent people. God will show his redemption to the others( Dylan and Eric). Th students that lost their lives weren't able to pray to god about it because of our school system and government, but it didn't matter to god, he was there, and he can heal lives. I live 215 miles away from Columbine High school, and I feel that Columbine High School Tradegy was something that hit people's lives for mile and miles away, to whom ever created this wonderful sight, you have done a good and greaceful thing. Forever, Cassandra |

| Comments: | I did a research paper on the Columbine shooting this past
fall. I remember exactly where I was also whenever I heard about the shooting. It has affected my life in many ways. I realize now that it can happen anywhere. I am from Alabama and attend a school that has only about 550 students in K-12. I am often scared that something could happen to our school like that and that is one of the reasons I did my paper on it. I am thankful that it affected other people than me, it shows that some people stil have a heart. |

Hi, my name is Greg, I'm 14, and I live in Colorado (As you may already know) I really think it's cool that you would start this campaign. I also remember where I was when I heard about the shooting. I was on lunch break at my school. I also remember some of the highschoolers were crying because they had friends that attended Columbine. All I could do was then God, and all the Angels that none of my friends, nor myself were at that school. SOmething ironic: The day of the shooting my father was supposed to play tennis in the schools courts. It was so wierd thinking that my dad was telling me were he was going to play tennis, right when Harris, and Klebold were preparing... It worries me, and I hope, I pray, that nothing like this ever happens to any of my friends, family, or me. Thanks for your time, a friend |

was really horrible. I think the people that did it were and still are disgusting. They should have never did something like that to people that didnt even do anything to them. Well some people might have did something to them, but that does not mean that they have to go kill them. I wish that there wasn't any violence in this society. Then the world would be a much better place. My name is Brittany Boyle and I am a ninth grader at Ravenna High School. I hope that nothing ever happens in that school ever again. |

| Comments: | This is a very beautiful site you have for Columbine High.
It's very tragic when something like this occurs and it will keep ocurring whether we like it or not. It's sad, what this world has come to. I lost two friends in November 6th, 1999 at approx. 2:45 AM due to a fatal car crash. I know it's nothing like what happened at Columbine because car accidents happen everyday, but losing two friends that were like my big brothers was really hard so I know what it's like to lose someone. Not being able to say goodbye and tell them how much you love them is the hardest part. Well, feel free to e-mail me and visit one of the three web- sites about me. Keep up the wonderful work. I was effected by the tragedy as a friend of my daughters from her choir moved to Littleton, right across the street from Columbine. Her older sister was friends with I believe Rachel Scott, and several others from her church youth group. It hurt her so much that she moved back here to Tahoe to go to our Community College. She herself did not go to Columbine, but knew many who did.I feelso for all of the families and everyone effected. They must never be forgotten! |

| Comments: | Today there was fear in the hearts of many at our school. a
vicous threat was scribbled on a bathroom stall yesterday the 19th saying that everyone at our school would die te next day. I think because of the tradgety of Columbine our Adminastrators were well prepared for the situation and handeled it very well. there was a meeting and the girl who wrote it stepped forward and will now recieve some counselling. She also apologized to the school. I know that this hit very close to home for our assistant principal who's wife was killed in te Moses Lake school shooting. I am now going to propose at our next student council meeting that we wear the ribbons some time soon and also to see if we can cancel school on April 20 to remember those lost at Columbine. Sincerely, Andrea Schneider |

| Comments: | The awesome thing about Rachel is that she found the grace
from God to overcome her personal pain and continue to love those who hurt her. Please walk for a few moments with this beautiful young woman... Rachel penned these words exactly one year to the day before her death. April 20, 1998, (Age 16) "It's like I have a heavy heart and this burden upon my back... but I don't know what it is. There is something in me that makes me want to cry... and I don't even know what it is. Things have definitely changed. Last week was so hard... besides missing Breakthru... [A Christian youth ministry] I lost all of my friends at school. Now that I have begun to "walk my talk", they make fun of me. I don't even know what I have done. I don't really have to say anything, and they turn me away. I was talking to (name withheld..) and I realized so much. I know what they're thinking every time I make a decision to resist temptation and follow God. They talk behind my back and call me "the preacher's churchgoing girl..." In the last 6 months my friends have changed. There are five of them. We all went to church and were on fire for God. We were close and talked about everything. (name withheld..) was the first to change. She went from a preppie, sweet girl to trenchcoat pot-trippin' city. She slit her wrists not too long ago because she likes the sight of blood. Then there's (name withheld..). She only cares about being popular. A couple of months ago her dad was diagnosed with cancer and since then she has been so worried with image. Then there's (name withheld..) who has become very conceited and self- centered. (name withheld..) now is turning to guys. She hasn't slept w/anyone, but has done EVERYTHING else. Now, (name withheld..). She loves to drink. I used to drink with her some, but since I've stopped she thinks I am such a loser, and that God is just a phase for me. I have no more personal friends at school. But you know what?... I am not going to apologize for speaking the name of Jesus, I am not going to justify my faith to them, and I am not going to hide the light that God has put into me. If I have to sacrifice everything... I will. I will take it. If my friends have to become my enemies for me to be with my best friend Jesus, then that's fine with me. Ya know, I always knew that part of being a Christian is having enemies... but I never thought that my "friends" were going to be those enemies. It's all good, I'm just a loner now at school. I just wish that someone from Breakthru (Christian Ministry) went to my school." Always in Christ, Rachel Joy ********************* I'll leave you to ponder her words. |

dedicate their time into making a web page on the Columbine tragedy.
