By Miria Jean You think you understand me, But you don't. I'm not like everyone else I'm different and I'm not ashamed to admit it. When you look at me what do you see? I bet it is different from what I see When I look in the mirror. You see a talented girl Who's on her way to stardom. Maybe a writer or a singer? A famous chief or an actress? Or maybe even a marine biologist. Is that really what you see When you look at me? When I look in the mirror, I see an outcast. I see a girl who has never really felt like she belongs, anywhere. I see a girl who could fall off the face of the earth today, And no one would care. . . No one would even notice. When I look in the mirror, I see a scared child. Someone scared of everything, but is afraid to let people know how she feels. Darkness. . . Men. . . People. . . Everything. What good could come of that? I say. . . Nothing. That's what I see when I look in the mirror. . . Nothing. Here's the knife. . . Right here in my hand. One quick flick of the wrist, a few moments of pain. Then. . . Nothing. . . Why can't I do it? Because of you. . . If nothing is what I see myself as. . . Why can't you see it too? Just leave me alone. . . Let me to Die. Stop telling me all your hopes and dreams for me. They are yours. . .
