I'm from Brisbane, Australia and have attended the Tenrikyo group here in Capalaba Brisbane with Michi and Miwaah (forgot how to spell their names). I found your site here by entering Otefuri (the hand movements that go with the Sazuke - Ashiki o harai, tasuke tamae, Tenri-O-no-Mikoto... I speak no Japanese so get confused sometimes, but enjoy going along to the monthly gathering for worship, but I find it difficult to attend as my son is autistic. Congratulations on getting the new job! I'm so happy for you! yei!! Yippee! Skippee! Can I ask a personal question? You can e-mail me the answer but I'm wondering how much you have to get paid (per hour) to live on your own? You know, like be able to pay rent, pay bills, pay car insurance, blah blah blah. And do you think it's better to save money and live at home until you can BUY your own place, or still okay to spend on rent? I'm thinking just stay at home, but I'm afraid that by living on my own so long, I'll end up not getting along with my parents when I DO have to go home. Welly well. | Comments: | Hey there, Xey. Personally, as far as the band excuse is concerned, I'd suggest simply saying that there was a once-in-a-lifetime visitor that you couldn't miss. Secondly, as to Bryan. I don't know if you remember him or not. He used to come into the Lair all the time. He came in as Marius, Vampire_Master08 and Jean__Claude. He was a frequent visitor during the first few months of 98, before and after the auto wreck. He and I developed a friendship during that time and then started trading Emails up to 8 and 9 times every night along about December/January 98/99. I thought we were getting more serious. C'est la vie, non? It was "officially" over in November of 99, but I kept hanging on. He helped by stringing me along, unintentionally, until this past March. But, he's married now, so I can move on with my life. Not that I couldn't have before, but, you know, the heart doesn't much care for logic. *chuckles* Anyway, I probably should have made this an Email, but you're stuck with a huge-ass chunk of your guest book taken by my sob story. this but I knew you wouldn't listen to me so I tried not to say anything. It's not about on-line relationships or whatever, but hearing from what you were telling me, the relationship was so one-sided! You gave him so much and he gave you so little and you were hurting but still you told me you would stick with it no matter what and I supported you because i know how you are and you keep your promises. The tears! Boy do I know about tears! But you know what? After you get through the pain, you'll feel so much better. You can't prevent the tears, but think of them as a source of healing; letting it all out. Don't keep it in, and I know it's impossible to. I'm so sorry Mika. I truly am. We always want to keep the ones we love, but sometimes it don't work out that way and at times, you'll find later that maybe it was for the best. I love you very much. I didn't go back to work this afternoon because I felt like shit. Not sick per se but just like shit. I need to get away from this university. ugh. It's driving me nuts. I don't know what I need. I think I need some kind of outlet. Maybe I should go running or something. But I don't have time! I need to finish my paper for tomorrow but I don't feel like working on it right now. I hate school I hate work. Another person is quitting again! I want to quit too already. But I need this job. I'm comfortable at this job. We just hired like three new people so we're or I'm in the process of training them. Training is not my cup of tea. ugh. I hate it. I don't know how to teach. So why do I want to become a teacher? I don't know. Because I'm dumb. Some people just have it in them naturally you know. I need a natural talent. Oh yeah. There's going to be a central district alumni band that Nakahara is putting together. I'm going to play. I'm looking forward to it. Rehearsals start next week. I just feel so ucky. But I'll be fine.
