Comments:I loved it! It was written so beautifully. You mixed a fair amount of angst with a fair amount of humor, absolutely PERFECT. Very well done. Again, I loved it! Lol. You have a way with words, and, I'll admit, I was tearing up at parts, and then I was grinning like an idiot at the end! Thank you for the wonderful story!

Comments:Seriously. I'm so damn happy that this was the first One Piece fanfiction I have ever read. When starting out watching/reading a new series - there's always the element of having to wade through hordes of drivel to reach a real gem. This was not the case at all. What you have here is something that could quite easily be published. Hell, if I owned a bit more of a company than I already do, I would publish it myself. Absolutely brilliant. Stunning, breathtaking, enrapturing. I still can't quite get past my anger and absolute furious hand-clenching rage at the priests and their ceremonies. I cried like a baby as Zoro and Sanji were leaving after the Seventh. So much emotion and tension and just sheer outrage at what they had gone through.

I can't wait to read anything else by you. It takes a fair amount to get me to sit in one place all afternoon and read a story in it's entirety, but congratulations, you've done the improbable.

Amazing believable characters, wonderfully textured storyline, and though there was no yaoi (originally what I found the story for) and though I somehow kept waiting for it to happen, even a little, I'm somehow glad that it never came to pass. The story seems richer for the absence, the friendship and budding brotherhood between the two men all the more cherished.

Please, continue to write. It's people like you that make me want to continue also.

If you can write like that using someone else's characters than I would love to see what you could do with your own. I wish you Good Luck with all your future pursuits in writing, and I look forward to seeing what else you can do.

Comments:^o^ I had never read a fan-fic all the way through. I actually had little hope any fan-fics were worth reading (after testing a few Harry Potter, Fruits Basket, and other various anime fanfics.)

Admittedly, I haven't read many. However, by FAR, that is the best fanfiction I've ever read. I was getting bored waiting for the next One Piece chapter to come out, so I thought I'd give the fan base another chance. I was pleasantly surprised- you have an amazing imagination.

Overall: I didn't stop reading... except once to use the bathroom. Thank you so much for making my day. You've inspired me greatly.

Thank you so much for this story! In summer, we (at work) did the same thing with crushed ice (better then food, doesn't stick to the hair but makes people squeal when stuffed under their t-shirts). In the end, one of my co-workers barricaded herself inside the room with the icemachine, that's like getting hold of an atomic bomb and the rest of us gave up. Anyway, it was as much fun as your story which isn't that far fetched as you can see. Thanks again and keep on writing!

Comments:I was re-reading this story, and thought I should comment on it (since I'm not a complete lurker these days, and sometimes dare to do that ^_^').

You've said that you were worried that people wouldn't be interested in a story where no-one was going to get it on...personally I think I prefer good plot (and drama, yes) to smut most days. Not to say I dislike the latter in any way either, perish the thought.
What I'm trying to say, I very much enjoy reading your stories, even on the second or third read through (course it helps I forget things... >_>).
In the case of this one, when I read it for the first time, I think I hadn't got to the part where Sanji became part of the crew yet, but somehow even that didn't matter much.
A good writer can describe a character well enough, I suppose.

And, one more thing I would like to say, is how much I like some of the images in this story. Maybe it's because painting and drawing is a dear hobby of mine, but sometimes I can see a scene described in text very vividly, and I love stories that can do that. The image of Sanji against the sky, when he almost jumped from the tower... I don't think I will ever forget that beautiful and terrible image. Thank you.

If this message is (again, like that one other time) too fangirly...well, all I can say is I have a habit of being just that, unfortunately. :')

Comments:I loved this fic. I'm not sure if this stuff is on your FF.net page, because i don't remember reading any of these GB fics there, but the way you write Ban and Ginji is fantastic, and i've loved every fic i've read on this site so far... which is actually only this and Chill because i only found the site about an hour ago. Both of them are well-written and the drama was fantastic. nothing was overdone, but nothing was underplayed, either. You're a very enjoyable author.
I wonder if you have OP stories on this site that aren't on FF.net either. THAT would be awesome! ZoLu rules, but so do stories that are not romance at all, and i like that you write both without getting caught up in fluff with every story. So many people can only write if there's fluff in it. Some stories are better without it! (Even though in getbackers the couple is acutally obvious so it's easy to write GxB). A+ writing!

Wow. What you accomplish here is ten times better than what I had done. You recreate the compulsion, Lex's drive, their enmity and their ambivalence so very, very well. Your Lex voice is precise and unsoftened--the cadence, yes, is lilting, but what he has to say is not. So very powerful, and reflective of the epic nature of, well, their nature and the inevitability of their struggle.

Just a wonderful read. Thank you.

It's beautiful, as usual. You have a real grasp of characters, in every fandom, and you make them feel real and rounded even when they barely appear. You're also sensitive to nuances -- for example, you got in all the contrasting pieces of Vash's personality, which is impressive in a single story! And there's such a sense of hope shining through the pain and troubles that I got a little melty feeling when I reached the end.

Cheers,
Liz

This is so inspiring. I always forgot when I watched and read GetBackers that Ginji hadn't left Mugenjou until Ban came around. Sort of like the Pied Piper the second time around, taking the children away from their hostile parents. Or something. O_o I bet Ban-chan knows that story.

Aiyah! You know so much about those two and apply it so well to your stories, they have so much substance. ^_^ Thank you for posting them.

Comments:*sniff* You're a fantastic writer. I'm so glad I typed in a google search, because fanfiction where I can see and hear the characters clearly as if played on a screen are ones that are truly good.

Thank you for posting and writing these, I appreciate them a lot! It's nice character insight and helps a lot with how I'm going to roleplay Ban. (I have a GetBackers roleplay on Gaia under this name and temporarily have Midou, so I've been researching. ^_^;;)

Mmm, writers who have their own website for their fics have great fanfiction. Better than those having only accounts on ff.net.

Nee, I'm babbling.

Beautiful work, ma'am! I love you to bits. *glomps*

Comments:Hey there, just read your intro story and wanted to let you know, it's fantastic. The 1st one I've read from the POV of an original character that's believable, and interesting. You did a really great job on Peter & Egon's meeting. It's not easy to bring those two together convincingly, but you did it, and I really enjoyed reading it.

Comments:Hello:)
I liked your stories so much, it's great they are not meaningless fluff I usually encounter, and they touch something deep within my heart...\\oh well, I really can't give complements well...\\
I have a question to ask. Wold you mind if I translate your fics to Russian? There is no fandom of Getbackers in my native language, and I'm not very good writer myself, so now I'm trying to translate good fics to Russian to get people interested. I will state everywhere that I'm not the author of your fic, and stuff, and your site adress or email can be published for feedback.
Looking forward to hear your answer:)

Damn, I cried :(( that was really good! Now I'm really curious who this "man that Ginji likes that that" is! WHO??

I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy.

*Stands up* Seriously. I've been reading and writing fanfiction for years and a very few stick out in my mind as better than adverage.

I don't normally leave comments - yes I'm a hipacrit "R&R", right.

Seriously though, this was wonderful. I literally thought as I was reading I need to go see this esp. It was that close to read.

My heart litterally stoped when blairs did. It's so rare to see anyone with such a firm understanding on the characters and there respective interactions.

A wonderful fanfiction.

If you're ever intrested in a co-writer.

Look me up.

I noticed something in the one with the moth in their car. It may be a typo--Or I could just be reading it wrong--I dunno... But I just figured I'd comment and let you know--Just in case.

"...How'd you know that was a girl moth?"

Ginji shrugs. "Or a girl moth." >> Shouldn't that be a 'boy' moth-There?
Well--I just wanted to say.

Comments:Beautiful. wonderful development of the chars and even though I have a very different take on LaCroix than what you wrote, I thought your LaCroix was amazing nonetheless. THe continuity of the characters was great and so was your description of both the Vampire Sire/Childe relationship and the differences both psychological and emotional that Blair and Jim both had to deal with. absolutely highest quality work. I just can't think of any way to express it. Thank you for writing it.

Comments:To be honest most of what I read from you I got over at ff.net, but my last stop has been here so this is where you'll get your comments (though I will add you to my fav authors list at ff.net anyhow) . I can only hope you check this thing regularly. Anyway, I hardly find the need to bother with this because most people don't inspire me to make the effort. I do love One Piece, but it's hard to find decent fics out there. You, on the other hand, have kept me entertained for longer than is probably healthy and you need to be thanked and praised for it. I love your writing. I love your characterizations, and I especially love all forms of Sanji torture which you do so wonderfully. For more specific reference I am referring to "Bound and Determined" which delighted me to no end. You have a vicious and sadistic way with eels, and many other fine qualities as well. I have also read everything else One Piece that you have and am awaiting an update on Tiger Hunt. Please please don't ever stop writing for OP, and for every Sanji-torture fic you write I will smile a toothy smile and leave a comment. I will even draw for you if you ask because it's the only semi tangible thing I can offer you. (Sanji sample here: http://adensrun.mattworld.com/artblog/sanjifan.jpg ) Thanks again.

Comments:I love this fiction. It was wonderful to read, there was enough angst and hurt to keep a Sanzo-fangirl's heart happy, and the characters were all IC! The storyline itself was alao very nice, and it developed in appropriate extents (most stories I've read were rather careless and short, with an unlogical plot coming fromnowwhere. This was very good! It was a pleasure to read, really. I'd love to read more if you've written other fiction :) Thank you ^_^

Comments:Thankyou so much for giving this episode the happy ending it deserves. I liked Double Jeopardy but found it really sad that the robots got killed, especially Daniel getting shot. I also felt the 'real' SG1 seemed a little uncaring in the episode.

This story was really well written, especially given the difficulties of writing two Jacks etc. The ending wasn't predictable at all - I was surprised by plot developments the whole way through. I like the Carter/Teal'c idea - it seems to follow quite well from the episode, and i'm so glad Harlan could restore the memories - like Jack i was really scared that they'd just be new copies of the real sg1.

I'm adding this to my favourite stories list, and this is how i'm going to believe Double Jeopardy ended from now on. It's so much better than the script-writers' ending. :)
