There's EROS as well as ACTION: EROS Excerpt: She wouldn't kiss me, she wouldn't touch me, she just described to me what she wanted to do. I had to listen to her tell me how she wanted me to undress her and make love to her. In my mind, it would be very soft and slow but she had other ideas in mind. | Why did you like this fic?: | Awesome story everyone! It was my all time favorite. It is all about this old friend of Bill Scully's who lusts after Scully. Of course, we all know how Bill feels about Mulder. Well, eventually he ends up in Scully's bedroom closet and he sees some pretty personal activities going on between Scully and the hateful(or so he thought)Mulder. What makes this story so awesome is that the guy wants Scully as much as Mulder does and he is tortured by having to watch the two of the them together. Anyways folks, go read it for yourself! You'll see what I mean! Great characterization too. |

| Why did you like this fic?: | This was an amazing novel. It was full of angst and romance and action. The details in this fic are astounding, and everything ties so well into the previously established X-Files universe. It is a thoroughly enjoyable, yet heartwrenching read, and I give it my highest recommendation. I'm not alone, it won the following 2000 Spooky Awards: Outstanding Novel (1st), Outstanding Angst Story (1st), Outstanding X-File (tied for 1st), Outstanding Scully Characterization (1st), Outstanding Mulder Characterization (2nd), Outstanding Other Series Characterization (1st), and Fialka won Outstanding Author (1st). |

In Emily, Mulder wants to help Scully and be there for her; and once again, Scully is too afraid that she will be perceived as weak. Heartbreaking. This fic deals with the aftermath of all that, and, fortunately, ends with Our Heroes, and particularly Scully, realizing that neither of them has ever been alone when the other is near. Oh, and some great sex, too! ;) |
