I am looking for relatives on my fathers side...he was Joseph Leo Sliokaitis, son of Andrew Sliokaitis and Julia Kavalunas who settled in Cleveland, Ohio. I have found only one Sliokaitis in the Lithuanian phonebook and will attempt a connection. If anyone would like to contact me, feel free to email me. Unfortunately, I speak only english. We were members of the St. George's Catholic Lithuanian church on E. 69th And Superior Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio |

Hi there,
Great website, very informative and well designed. I'm researching my Lithuanian family name. Palokas, possibly mis-spelt as my family actually write it as Polockus here in Scotland. Jonas Palokas b. 1891 to Juozas and Ona Palokas (m.s. Miliunas) I think in Marijampole, if anyone knows any info please contact me.
Keep up the good work |

Hello, I found my way here through LGGS. I am looking for info on my grandparents - Michael Markaverich and Josephine Tatarunus. I only know they came through Ellis Island sometime in the late 1890's, not much to work with. Your website is terrific and thank you for the work you are doing.
