 I'm glad to see a fan website for Lindsey Yamasaki. I think she's an awesome player who is a great role model for young Asian American female athletes. I first saw Lindsey when she came to Hawaii for the 1999 Women's Volleyball Final Four. I think I was the only Hawaii fan cheering for Stanford that night (Hawaii didn't make it that year). But I was biased and I was cheering for Lindsey & Lindsay (Kagawa) just because they were Japanese. But since then, I've become a Lindsey Yamasaki fan and I've followed her games as a volleyball/basketball star. Lindsey, congratulations on becoming the first Asian-born American to play in the WNBA and you have paved the way for so many young Asians who will follow in your footsteps.
