| Comments: | Found this comic two years ago, and I'm still waiting for it to pick back up and take off again. But it's well worth the wait. :)
My only complaint is the image resolution on much of the site is overly high. Browsing from dialup is difficult if not impossible at times, and viewing the individual comics requires a lot of scrolling. I'd suggest the following, though they're *just* suggestions: Use actual low-res thumbnails in the artwork galleries rather than using HTML to shrink the images to thumbnail size (this will GREATLY decreas load times and bandwidth for people viewing that section) Have the comics themselves shrunken down to sizes manageable on normal monitors, but keep the full-sized images on hand for those who'd like them. Best of both worlds. :) ...Sorry if I'm being overcritical of the site. I just think a comic this good deserves an equally well-done website. :) |

| Comments: | I've been a fan of your webcomic for years... and I dont mean to be rude but it would appear that it died a long time ago. There are no updates aside from you pushing the expected time for an update another month further. Either its gone or its not, please stop telling us that you will update soon, only to delay it further. If you are planning a Hiatus, then please do replace the front page with a "Be Back next Millenium" Sign. Since at the rate of things it doesnt look like it will ever return. I really do like your webcomic, and found it really great.... but now its just in a sad pitiful state, and Im sick of trying to smile and hope for an update.
The same thing is happening with another webcomic (http://www.sgvy.com/) and it too has gotten to be very irritating. It's difficult to be a fan when you cant trust the promises of the webcomic artist. And I do know its a free comic, done on your own time for no money. But it is also your responsibility to your fans to be honest, and let them know the truth, rather than making empty promises. I really do hope that you continue the comic soon, but if thats not the case, then please say that instead of telling us to wait another month. Months add up, and its been several years since you started delaying things. (To any fans who might object to what I've said..... I dont want to hear it) |

| Comments: | Honestly, I'm very sick and tired of posts like the one above. This person obviously did NOT read the newer strips I've put up since my long hiatus. It's not as if PSC is stagnant, it's just updating VEEEERY slowly, something I mentoned when it RETURNED. When people like this post messages like this, I want to find them, herniate two discs in their neck that make it so that they're right hand is basically paralized, put them through 1 year of painful physical therapy, have them move across country to a very small town, not have internet access for almost 3 months, THEN demand that they draw a webcomic. I am honestly finishing PSC. I realize it is updating a lot slower than usual. All my fans that care to READ my author's notes have been forewarned ages ago. I am typing this message here, since all the people who type these things don't read my notes or my blog to avoid sticking their foot in their mouth. It is very painful for my neck injury to sit at a desk, hunched over, doing detailed character work for hours on end. Yes, it takes almost 4 HOURS now to draw a single comic. That doesn't even include scanning and toning and re-lettering, which can take up to 6 hours in and of itself! I could have just let PSC slip into a quiet death years ago, but I just won't let it! I promised my fans that they would be able to see an ending, and dammit, it may be slow, but I am giving it to them! To people like the poster above- if you are going to post an uninformed rant or even a single one-line on how PSC died years ago, then, HOW ABOUT YOU STOP READING IT? If you are that impatient with my new updating schedule, then leave! There are tons of other webcomics out there, by people who are in better health than I and are able to produce up to 5 comics a week. Some are even in COLOR! Some are even better artists than I! The internet is a huge, wide, infinite thing- Go find a new comic to read, go play a video game, go read a book or something! People act like PSC updating sporatically is RUINING THEIR LIFE! Honestly, if I didn't care for my fans, I would have ended PSC years ago, before my injury, when I just plain got sick of drawing it and I had too much shit to do at work. But I didn't. I'm not a quitter! ^_^ I think from now on, I am just going to delete posts such as that. They're really just spiteful and insipid.

Im merely saying that if things are to be delayed, then please instead of saying to wait a month for your return, just at least say thats its gonna take a lot longer for any updates. I've read your blog and know at least partially of what you've gone through.... though telling people to run over to read your blog for updates does get tired. What I was getting annoyed by is the news on PSC, the main page of the webcomic for which people are looking. Rather than saying "Go read my blog for updates" or "More comics in 1 month" itd be a bit less annoying running in circles if you could just say that things are rough and the comic will come when you can get to it...
I'd like to be very clear about the fact that "I am not demanding any new comics"... I'd just rather be told that a comic will arrive in 6 months as opposed to being told that new comics will come every month only to have it delayed each time. I also do hope that things get better for you as soon as it can. Life is never easy and I know what its like when you get dealt crap cards. I just hope that you understand that you might've had others demanding more comics as quickly as possible, but I am not like them. I just felt that, after reading Yanagi-san's blog, that I should say something: Thank you for bringing us a wonderful comic, and I hope that, when you are able to return to the comics, they will continue for years to come. I know PSC is a comic where the casual reader would be frustrated, but the fans who really care probably do what I do: Put it in their sporadic folder, and check back once a month or so.
I look forward to when the comics return, and hope that you are not really ending the strip merely because of the comments by some impatient people. |

I discovered PSC some time last year and read through the archives. I really like your art, and your openness about everything sexual makes this comic refreshingly different. So, thank you for creating it in the first place. I have yet to read your blog (I will soon), but like D (three posts up) I am one of your patient fans. I fully understand that you have to deal with your personal problems first. As for D's idea of creating a Mailing-list, I think there is a simpler solution at hand, and one that would mean far less work for you: PSC is now featured on www.comicalert.com, a site that provides free personalized notification of comic updates automatically, as website, email and RSS-feed (RSS is the most useful to me). You could just put a link on your frontpage that tells people to head over to comicalert, and subscribe to your comic there. Then they will be notified of any updates, and you don't need to do anything. (Subscribing to comicalert is anonymous, instantanious and free, and no, I'm not affiliated with that site :-) . I'm a member of a The New Senshi RPG club on yahoo.com where I have the character named Sephia (named after the car I drove at the time, a 1995 Kia Sephia). I have been considering started a comic strip staring my character. Thankfully, aside from the first name, our Sephias are completely different (mine's single, bisexual, sexually liberal, rich, skanky, Gun-Bunny, loud mouth, egotistical bitchy, superhero known as 'Sailor Rhea', though in the spin off comic strip she won't be Sailor Rhea).
