I have recently graduated with a voice degree from the University of Arizona, and am taking a few years off to attempt to get out of debt...(grrr). (By the by, I am also a friend of the 2000 winner of the NATSAA competition in Philadelphia). It is great to see a fellow singer who is also a great webpage designer. I wish I could pursue both goals (voice and internet) with ardor at this point, but, currently, my only voice practice comes from singing (section-leading) with a community college choir where my folks live. There may be room for a recital in the spring here (Yuma, AZ), but it is hard to keep my voice in check when there are no effective voice teachers (that I know of) here. Any advice? My voice instructor encouraged me to go and get my master's degree so here I am, going back to school this fall and getting my Master's in vocal pedagogy and performance at Oklahoma State University!
