Jim & Peggy Mount Sunday, March 6th 2005 - 07:47:28 PM jpmount@frii.com We spent 3 weeks in Baja from late January through late February, 2005. Our most memorable experience was the three days we spent at the Kuyima Camp at Laguna San Ignacio. Traveling in a small motor home, we originally planned to stay in the town of San Ignacio and travel to the lagoon via transportation provided by Kuyima. But as circumstances eveolved, we drove our motor home directly to Laguna San Ignacio and we are very happy that we did so. The camp at Kuyima is absolutely beautiful; it is remote, pristine, yet very comfortable. The restaruant serves excellent food at a modest cost and the people are very friendly. Best of all is the whale watching. You have to see it to believe it! The whales are majestic and on several occasions came right up to our boat so we could pet them. Nothing else that we experienced in Baja could compare to our stay at the Kuyima Camp on Laguna San Ignacio.

Lailani Leyden Thursday, May 20th 2004 - 01:28:03 PM dylanhowl23@hotmail.com Hello. I took a trip down to San Ignacio with the Pasadena City College Geo/Bio class. The whale experience was awesome and what added the finest touch was the Andean Music played by two charasmatic musicians. I was understood that I would be able to purchase a CD on this web site. However, I can't seem to find the page. If you have time, please email me the information needed so that I can once again enjoy the sounds of Andean Music from Gitamos at Kuyima. Thank you.

Robin Wood Friday, February 27th 2004 - 08:14:11 AM ewood4444@aol.com The Kuyima Baja mule trip with Raul is a terrific experience. Not only is he completley professional, extremely knowledgeable and personable, he's a good cook too. All of Kuyima's support personnel were equally professional. A big benefit of doing the six day trip was it provided enough time to visit a self-sustaining farm 3 hours by mule back to nearest town, and to stay with the farm family. The indian cave paintings with the desert as a backdrop were spectacular.

Edward Riggs Tuesday, February 17th 2004 - 11:53:57 AM ed@edriggs.com The last week of January a friend and I spent six days with Raul and the crew from Kuyima traveling by mule to look at Rock Art sites. The trip could not have been better. Every effort was made, and made successfully, to protect us from bad water and food; and to protect the enviornment from us. A stay at a ranch was fascinating and the rock art spectacular. Food was very good. On top of this, people were just wonderful. A super trip for anyone who is reasonably fit and likes camping. Far, far exceeded my expectations. Should anyone have questions, e-mail me at: ed@edriggs.com

Heather Gonzalez Sunday, May 18th 2003 - 12:28:46 PM hebgonzalez@yahoo.com My kids and I had a TERRIFIC time at Kuyima. It was truly breathtaking to see whales play around our boat, and we even got to pat them! The facilities are excellent; very comfortable yet environmentally responsible and attractive all at once. I highly recommend the experience!
