| Comments: | Don't worry about Mumm-Ra's reflection weakness; he loses it about the same time the three new Thunderians show up. (And prepare for a MAJOR descrepancy between how long it took the original TCs to get to Third Earth as opposed to how long it took the three newbies.)
Also, in "All That Glitters" is the explanation for why they didn't take the Baron's treasure. Apparently, the TCs didn't have a particular metal on their planet (and therefore no idea of its use in industry as well as jewelry.) Panthro considers it 'useless'. They get the metal because the Thundrillium meteor fell right in a vein of it and the heat melted a shell onto the meteor. And prepare to meet the Lunattacks! They sometimes come across a tad smarmy, but all in all they are quite as nasty as Mumm-ra. |

Hmm it doesn't end with the old shows. Dragonball Z is nothing but fighting. Here they fight there they everywhere they are kicking butts. Personall note. Pioneer were the best at editing anime for america. I mean I never thought that the blue drink was actually beer. well I guess in my perfect world the only things that would be on are, Power Rangers, Captain Planet, Tella Tubbies and Sing to the songs of Jayjay the jet plane one Last note.... I actually found your site while at a T-Cats page and happened upon one of your flames. Thanks for the insights re: metal music and cartoons of the 80's. I was completely hooked on many of those shows while I was small and have to agree with you about the dearth of really fine villains. They're always more interesting than the heroes... Speaking of metal--while what I sing is mainly classical and opera, one of my favourite songs is Iron Maiden's adaptation of The Rime of the Ancient Mariner--do you know it? The galloping guitar would probably make Coleridge turn in his grave, but I think it rocks. Anyway, thanx for the site--keep up the good work! P.S. | Comments: | Dearest critic, since when is college a surefire guarantee of intelligence? I have met many people who have gone to college and are still incompetent fools. (And if you need any proof of this, just look at Bill "Loose Pants" Clinton--need I say more?) It's a person's character that counts, not their college experience or their hair length or any other superficial thing. The whole point of having a brain (aside from the obvious physical factors) is to think, which is what Erich was doing when he whipped up his piece on time travel (which I personally found quite interesting), and he has a perfectly good right to produce whatever ideas he wants. So chill out, 'kay?
BTW, here's a little tidbit for you: A woman that my mom once knew actually believed that the hoverboards in the movie "Back To The Future Part 2" were real....how whacked-out is that?! |

Erich on his excellent page, I instead direct it towards our critic who breaks down Erich's analysis of time travel. Let's start off with the whole point of your disagreement. You claim Erich claims to "know" so much about time travel. I'd like to point your obviously pathetic attention to the first paragraph, where he clearly states these are simply IDEAS. He's not talking about something that's happened-- it's all hypothetical (that means we're playing "What If".) Second, you ask in the second sentence if he thinks he's more intelligent than the world's best scholars. What proof do you have that he isn't? Have YOU time travelled? Can you say one way or the other that his IDEAS are right or wrong? Then (and I think this is so hypocritical)you beat him about the head for talking about something that's NOT REAL. You were just griping about what conditions would be needed for it to happen in reality, and then you take it right back into fantasy? Make up your mind!! Next sentence: what does his hair have to do with time travel? Have you ever heard of Albert Einstein? Look at his hair. It didn't adversely affect the way he thought. And the last sentence: try college? Like you? I guess that would make him as smart as you. Well, hate to break it to you Braniac, but your grammar, punctuation, and capitalization (ESPECIALLY the capitalization) suck. You're not really making college look like a very good investment of time and money if all it produces is illiterate morons like yourself. And talk about being a know-it-all-- you end your first sentence with the question "do you know what the chance of it really is?" and then proceed to ANSWER it! That's a pretty arrogant assumption. So my advice to YOU would be to go back to college and see if you can try and pick a few things up this time. Practice what you preach, you mongoloid. |
