| Comments: | my parents owned a keeshond called keesha when I was a child in england. In 1992 I was given a 4year old female, called sasha, the previous owner was unable to keep her, her pedigree name was zilvervoz supertramp, she became my permanent shadow, I took her to dog obedience(she had never had a lead or collar on) where she excelled in all classes often taking out dog of class or dog of month. Next, I took her to trialling where once again she shone often getting a very high score or trophies for highest scoring bitch in her group. She was always a willing worker and really just wanted to please me. Sadly sasha passed away 6 years ago at the age of almost 14. One day I would love to own one again, but at present Im kept busy with a kelpie and 2 staffies. |

| Comments: | I have had 3 Keeshonden, Emman Bea and Heidi. All were pedigree however I never showed any of them. Heidi was a show dog but I purchased her as a two year old to keep Bea company.
Emma died aged 10 almost 20 years ago, many years before Bea and Heidi came along. We lost our beautiful Bea 10 months ago, aged 14 and Heidi joined her only 4 weeks ago, aged 13yrs. Bea was cremated and was placed in a small urn on the mantle and when we lost our wonderful Heidi, she too was cremated and her ashes placed in another urn with Bea. Our only consolation is that our inseparable girls are back together again. Not sure when we'll be ready to take on another pair but I think it will be sooner rather than later. Think I'd like to get a pup and perhaps a young adult...we'll see! |

My family has 3 Keeshonds 2 males and my female, we also use to have antoher male and female but they have sadley left us! Our old female was an ex bread dog from sydney and 3 of the others have been rescued from family that could not/would not look after them any more! I would have to say Keeshonds are the best dogs and I look forward to one day being able to have my own again! |

Just wanted to get in touch. I have been communicating with Joanne Reed by email for a few months now and my wife, Helen and myself went to Sydney from Canberra to meet her when she was here last year. We have had Keeshonds for 16 years and we showed for the first 8 of those. We took a couple of dogs to Championships and our most notable success was getting the bitch challenge at the Royal Easter Show in Sydney in 1988. For the moment we simply love our dogs but aim to always have quality dogs for ourselves. At the moment we are happy to be involved as 'silent partners' with Jill Cottee (Nederhund) here in Canberra. At the same time we are considering importing a dog from Joanne at some time in the future. Should we do this, I am sure there could be some mutual benefit involved. We have one of Jill's bitches which hope to confirm in the next few days is in whelp. The bitch has some Windrift background via the UK. I will keep an eye on your site for up to date information on your new import. All the best John |

champ he is. Acutally am a new breeder myself in S.A. very small and have first litter in our own right born Jan 2nd 2000. We started in 1996 but have not shown at all but we are mainly interested in helping to improve breed and perhaps produce a show winner for an exhibitor. My Aunt was one of early pioneers in breed here in Sth Aust (Ann Grear) and has lot of old history and past show champs pictures etc. Did not know this until my fathers funeral in 96 and first time seen Auntie in 20 years.
