My husband and I finally found a church family we really love this Fall, and one of the warmest and kindest in the bunch is a woman named Sarah (Masen) Dark. I knew she sang and had recorded some things, but I'd never had a chance to hear her so I thought I'd kill some time by doing a web search to see if I could find out more. I'm just amazed to see how accomplished and what a great artist my new friend is!!! And how wild to discover that she even has fan pages ;) Anyway, I know that the people who come to this site already know that Sarah makes great music, I wanted to take the opportunity to let you all know that she truly is a beautiful person as well. And now that I've discovered how accomplished she is, I guess I should add modest to my description of her, lol! 27th. And then the following year she has a baby the day before my birthday. I only have the album with "All Fall Down" but some of her other pop songs have made it on the collection CDs I have. She is great and a very honest singer who does herself well by writing most of her own lyrics with a real truth from the heart. Of course she can never compare to my favorite female artist of all time, Rebecca St. James, who has amazing music, a passion to spread the gospel, a life that follows what she preaches, and a beauty like none other (with a cute smile and sweet accent to boot). But all the same I hope maybe to see Sarah live sometime but it doesn't look like she tours too much. Thanks for a great site here, I couldn't really find one anywhere else with even a biography or picture gallery (her official one is supposedly going to get those eventually). Anyway, rock on Christian people and thanks for promoting contemporary Christian music (great way to witness to people) by visiting this site and others and the artists themselves. You're awesome Zimm, keep up the good work. I'll continue to check this site to find if she'll play in her home state of TN (where I go to college) anytime soon so I can see her! |
