I cannot take my eyes off your gallery of guitars. I intend to buy one in the future after I have saved for it. I am not a professional classical guitarist and I learned to play while I was in a seminary studying for the priesthood under the tutelage of a spanish jesuit which probably explains my fascination with the works of J.S. Bach. Even then, in a poor country like the philippines, the best guitar we can afford then was a yamaha classical guitar which I cannot even afford to buy for myself. I acquired my first yamaha classical guitar several years later after I had left the seminary and while I was teaching philosophy in a jesuit university. I still have it and still play with it. I am even teaching my children to play classical guitar with it. Hopefully in another year or so, I will have enough money to order from you. |

I started playing in my thirties. I learned to read tablature because I did not have the time to learn to read music. My bars were always very weak because of the way the bone of the first joint of my left index finger protrudes thus making it difficult to bring enough pressure on the strings to effect clean bar chords. I have seen similar attempts on other websites, but typically they only show a couple of pictures of the workshop. However, in your case, you have taken it to a new level and provide the reader with a detailed description and illustration of every key step involved in guitar making. I simply love the narrative that is provided for the construction of the guitar and the associated photographs that depict the construction activities that occur during the building of the guitar. I am on the verge of actually signing up. I'd wish you had more material available free (or perhaps for a small fee) that could help me rationalize my decision of forking 300 dollars. I should say that I am an amateur. I've started 5 years ago in my early thirties and I've been studying with a wonderful teacher. I do not have any dreams of ever becoming very good at this (stratosphere good) but I enjoy very much reading or listening what musicians have to say about other musicians, pieces, composers, etc. I was quite impressed about your comments above Segovia. I definitely think that we should not sanctify artists and we should be able to have a rational dialogue about their achievements and their flaws.

Me parece que mi descicion de adquirir un de estas es casi final, asi que proxiamente me estare comunicando. Algunas preguntas: 1) Estas guitarras las cubre alguna garantia por defectos de manufactura? 2) Costo del Digital Tuner? 3) Costo del Dehumidifier? 3) Algun Referido de mi Pais, Puerto Rico que haya adquirido un guitarra de Bellucci para verla y apreciarla fisicamente, si no lo ahy y si completamos mi adquisición, desearia usted que le sirviera de Representante Promotor de su producto en San Juan de Puerto Rico? At the age of 33 i went back to college to get my computer science degree. During those years i neglected to practice very much because of the heavy work load. I did manage to hold onto my technique however. Anyway when the dot com meltdown hit the US i became unemployed. This however allowed me get back into a regular practice routine. I am now working on the Chaconne. It feels great to be with doing what was my first interest as a child. I do not claim to be a great musician but i am a great lover of the guitar. |

| Comments : | I am not sure what to say about your site other than I am inspired. I cannot join for several months as I have other financial obligations first. My grandfater was Wilf Carter (also known as Montana Slim), a famous musician in Canada for some time. When I was young, he gave me one of his concert guitars (dreadnaught body, steel string) but I never learned to play it properly. Here I am now on the cusp of 40 years old with two children of my own. For some reason, I now have a burning desire to play classical guitar. Maestro I must say thankyou again for introducing me to Bach. I am 21 and it has shown me what is possible with music. I thought it couldn't get better than the Beatles. I have now heard what is possible. (It was noted by my family too. For christmas they gave me three Bach recordings) ! My interest in this site, and in guitar is I am a composer. To have a heartfelt relationship with music, one needs to know the language, but one need not be limited to "paper music" alone. Exposing the kids to Classical, Old Swing/Country, Bluegrass, Baroque, and folk music, mostly. Steering clear of the idea that a guitar player needs to be either a "Rock star" or "failure". | Comments : | I have no musical instrument experience. Now at 76, retired and living in the California Veterans I have the time. A friend has temporarily loaned me a guitar. I purchased some books including Parkening. My fingers are on the short side and I found reaching the strings difficult. Also the posture was wrong. I have studied and had a deep tissue body alignment practice ( like Rolfing). And yet could not get resonably comfortable.Since I have become faced the need to either buy a guitar or quit, I was leaning toward the latter. For me the guitar is a great expense.
